ABOUT US
Our members range from beginners to Master Gardeners. No green thumb or even a garden is needed! Both men and women are active in our club. We are not a federated garden club so there is not an emphasis upon flower shows or competitions. Instead we focus upon our educational meetings, free or low-cost family activities, and community service.
Our program year runs from March through October and we meet monthly, generally the third Wednesday of the month, except in June. In 2024, our in-person meetings will be held in the pavilion of Hedges Chapel at 1:00 p.m. (note new time). Each monthly meeting includes a presentation from an expert in some field related to the interests of our members. Other activities include trips, garden tours and socials, and local landscaping and community service projects.
Annual dues are still just $10 per household and cover all individuals in the household.
